Will Poulter Joins Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 as Adam Warlock
British actor, Will Poulter, will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Adam Warlock. Warlock is one of Marvel Comics’ most powerful characters.
Poulter will make his MCU debut in James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3.
The character was teased all the way back in 2017’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, in a post-credits scene. Since then, anticipation has grown, and at the time many fans speculated that Warlock would debut in the Avengers movies. However that theory never came to life, but now four years later, we have confirmed news that Adam Warlock will be introduced in Guardians Vol. 3, with Will Poulter playing the role.

Filming will begin in November, with the film set to release in cinemas on May 5th, 2023.
Although plot details are still top secret, we can get a good idea of how the film will introduce Adam Warlock. Guardians Vol. 2 saw the Guardians betraying a race known as the Sovereign, led by Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki). Humiliated by the betrayal, Ayesha was last seen in a post-credits scene naming a mysterious creation “Adam”, which she will use to get revenge on the Guardians.
Will Poulter has a long list of acting credits, he most notably starred in critically acclaimed films The Revenant, Detroit and Midsommar. Poulter is also best known for starring as Gally in The Maze Runner trilogy. Other credits include the recent TV Series Dopesick, The Underground Railroad, We’re The Millers, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader.
