Oscars 2021 Winners List

This year’s Oscars was certainly different with Nominees attending all across the globe. Despite the pandemic, the Academy put together a night of celebration with a number of surprises and snubs.

Anthony Hopkins scored a surprise Best Actor win for his incredible performance in The Father, making him the oldest Oscar Winner in history. However, his win meant that the favourite, Chadwick Boseman, was snubbed for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. 

Frances McDormand won Best Actress for her role in Nomadland, while South Korean actress Yuh-Jung Youn won best supporting actress for Minari. 

Nomadland stole the show with a total of three awards won: Best Picture, Director & Actress.
