SAG Awards 2021 Winners List

The 27th Screen Actors Guild Awards gave a night of surprises, in the run-up to the Oscars later this month. The SAG Awards gave the Outstanding Actress in a Leading Role to Viola Davis, despite predictions that Carey Mulligan would take the award. This has made the Oscars quite unpredictable in terms of Best Actress.

Chadwick Boseman won post-humously for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Jason Bateman took a well-deserved surprise win for his role in Ozark, beating favourites Josh O’Connor and Bob Odenkirk.

Gillian Anderson scored an award for her portrayal of Margret Thatcher in The Crown, in addition to Anya Taylor-Joy who was awarded for her role in The Queen’s Gambit.
