Emilia Clarke & Olivia Colman Join Marvel’s Secret Invasion at Disney+
Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman are set to join the cast of the upcoming Disney+ Series “Secret Invasion”. The Original Marvel Series will mark Clarke and Colman’s debut in the popular Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Game Of Thrones star and, Oscar-winner, Olivia Colman will join Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn & Kingsley Ben-Adir. Jackson will reprise his MCU role as Nick Fury, while Mendelsohn will play the Skrull Talos once again after his appearance in 2019’s Captain Marvel.
The series will reportedly follow a group of shape-shifting aliens who have been infiltrating Earth for years. Ben-Adir is set to be the main villain. Kyle Bradstreet will write and executive produce the series.
Marvel Studios released its first Disney+ Series in January with WandaVision. This was followed by Falcon and the Winter Soldier in March. Both shows have been a hit and met with critical acclaim.
Emilia Clarke is best-known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO Series Game Of Thrones. She also starred in Solo: A Star Wars Story, Me Before You and 2019’s Last Christmas.
Olivia Colman recently starred in the BAFTA-winning & Oscar-nominated The Father. Colman won an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Anne in The Favourite.
