Helen McCrory, Harry Potter & Peaky Blinders Star, Dies Aged 52
The British Actress, Helen McCrory, has died aged of cancer, aged 52. She was best known for her roles in Peaky Blinders and three Harry Potter films. Her husband and actor, Damien Lewis, announced the news in a statement on Twitter.
The statement reads: “I’m heartbroken to announce that after an heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from family and friends. She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and we know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you.”

Helen McCrory was a star of Stage and Screen, most recently starring in the BBC Political Drama Roadkill. She played Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter films and Polly Gray in the popular BBC series, Peaky Blinders. McCrory’s other credits include roles in The Queen, Quiz, MotherFatherSon, His Dark Materials and Hugo.
