Black Widow & Cruella to Hit Disney+ Premier Access & Cinemas Simultaneously
Disney has announced that highly-anticipated titles ‘Black Widow‘ and ‘Cruella‘ will release in Cinemas and on Disney+ Premier Access at the same time. It was also announced that Pixar’s ‘Luca’ will be able to stream exclusively on Disney+.
This is Disney’s biggest decision yet, in terms of streaming. Black Widow, in particular, could’ve been a Billion-dollar grossing movie at the box office pre-pandemic. Disney+ Premier Access costs £19.99 or $29.99 in addition to a Disney+ Subscription.
Cruella is set to release on Disney+ Premier Access & in cinemas on May 28th. The big-budget title explores the origins of 101 Dalmations villain, Cruella de Vil. Starring Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Mark Strong, Paul Walter Hauser & Joel Fry.
Animated film Luca will be streaming on Disney+ on June 18th, skipping a Cinema Release. Set in the Italian Riviera, it’s a coming-of-age story about a boy who enjoys an unforgettable Summer.
Marvel Studios’ Black Widow will hit Premier Access and Cinemas on July 9th. The long-awaited movie, with Scarlett Johannson at the centre, was set to release May 7th but has now been pushed back 2 months.
