Writers Guild Awards 2021 Winners List
“Promising Young Woman”, “Ted Lasso” & “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” Amongst Winners
Kal Penn hosted the virtual Writers Guild Ceremony that awarded some of the Oscar frontrunners.
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm won for Adapted Screenplay, it was awarded to the large group of writers who worked on the sequel. However, the speech was given by star and director Sacha Baron Cohen. “Promising Young Woman” was also recognised by the Guild for Original Screenplay, a win for British writer-director Emerald Fennell.
