See the First Look at Hocus Pocus 2
Hocus Pocus 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 1993 cult classic film, is currently in production. To celebrate Disney+ Day, a first look image has been released featuring the original cast back as the Sanderson Sisters (above). Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will return alongside new cast additions announced a few weeks ago.

Hocus Pocus 2 will release in Fall 2022, exclusively on Disney+. The sequel will reportedly follow three young women who accidentally bring the Sandersons back, and have to figure out how to stop them from wreaking fresh havoc on the world.
Additional cast members include Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) and Sam Richardson (The Tomorrow War) along with Tony Hale (Toy Story 4), Froy Gutierrez (Cruel Summer) and Doug Jones, who played Billy in the original 1993 film. Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Juju Brener, Taylor Henderson and Nina Kitchen complete the cast for the sequel.
The original film was received poorly by critics upon its release, but Hocus Pocus has gained a cult following and is a hit each Halloween. The fan-favourite film saw three witches resurrect after 300 years to take revenge and begin a reign of terror after Max, who moves to Salem with his family, lights the Black Flame Candle.
Hocus Pocus 2 releases on Disney+ in Fall 2022.
