‘House Of The Dragon’ Drops First Teaser

HBO’s first Game Of Thrones spin-off series, House of the Dragon, has released its first teaser footage. The series follows the story of House Targaryen 200 years before the events of the main series. It will detail the events leading up to the Targaryen civil war, better known as the “Dance of the Dragons”.
Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Paddy Considine, Rhys Ifans and Emma D’Arcy will all-star in the highly-anticipated HBO series.
House Of The Dragon is the first of six planned spin-off series from the hit fantasy series, Game Of Thrones. Game Of Thrones is regarded as one of the World’s biggest, most popular and successful shows. The conclusion of the hit TV show drew 19.3 million viewers in the US, breaking HBO records.
House of the Dragon will consist of 10 episodes and is set to premiere in 2022. The dramatic teaser is narrated by Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen. Watch the first teaser below…

Production on the series started in the UK back in April. As with many projects, filming was reportedly subject to a shutdown, following a crew member testing positive for coronavirus.
HBO has also revealed clips for the upcoming third season of Succession. HBO also teased the upcoming ‘And Just Like That’, a Sex and the City follow-up series, featuring the original cast.
House of the Dragon debuts on HBO Max in 2022. UK viewers can expect to watch the series on Sky.
